Turns Out, You Can Sing
Flawless pitch correction for everyone
Most of us have a complicated relationship with our own voice. Some people are born knowing they can sing. Others spend years convincing themselves they can't. Altitude was built for both.
We started the Altitude-project because we couldn't stop thinking about vocals. Not just as something to correct or process, but as the most direct line between a person and an idea. Nothing else in music works quite like it. It's personal in a way that no synth or instrument can touch – which is exactly why so many people are intimidated by it.

For years we wanted a tool that didn't just fix pitch, but made the whole experience of singing feel genuinely worth it. Precise enough for the most demanding professionals, open enough to hand something new to anyone willing to explore. After too long, patching together workflows that almost did what we needed, we built the thing we actually wanted to use.
"Creating new functions in Altitude led to new musical discoveries for ourselves as musicians, which in turn led to new functions, and so on. The process itself became very inspirational, and I hope that the user can feel that too."
– Ludvig Ward, lead developer
At Altitude’s core is a pitch correction engine that belongs in the same conversation as the industry’s best; transparent when you need transparent, character-defining when you don’t. Automatic harmonies, a MIDI-playable voice module, and built-in modulation to play around with. This is where Altitude stops being a processor and starts feeling like an instrument. It opens up textures and sounds that simply didn’t exist before.

For the seasoned singer, Altitude is a creative partner that keeps up. For people who has stood at the edge of singing and talked themselves out of it, it's an invitation. The voice you have is enough to start with. Where it goes from there is the interesting part. For everyone who've been told – or told themselves – that they can't sing …
You can.
