REAMP is an analog gear simulator with a unique & efficient spectral saturation algorithm. You can choose between seven carefully modeled simulations of real vintage analog devices like a mid 80's tape deck or an old high quality bass amp. REAMP works wonders when added subtley across multiple channels, bur can also add real grit or character to any specific track. The four bands also let you fine-tune the effect to achieve great cohesion and elevate your mix. It's a true "secret sauce" for getting that sound of your songs just right.

So what is re-amping anyway? Essentially it is when you record an instrument’s clean signal and then send that signal through an amp and/or a bunch of different gear to record the signal again with the added effects. It’s a technique that’s been around pretty much as long as audio recording has been a thing. It’s how engineers get that raw natural sound and it is almost a ”must have” for musical sound design. Traditionally it has been used pretty ubiquitously on guitars, but over time it has become increasingly popular to re-amp anything from vocals to synthesizers, and is considered especially useful for processing drums.

REAMP - Audio Gear Modeler can be particularly handy if you for instance don’t have the space (or the gear itself) to set up different amplifiers or other devices for rerecording. Or if you don’t have time to rebuild a physical setup for different audio trials. Reamp very easily lets you test run different flavors without any outboard gear at all. Now, how’s that for convenience? In fact, not only conveniently practical, REAMP is probably one of the best ways you can get creative with that specific ”sound” you want to achieve for a truly pro-level mix.
